前回に続いて、今年は今週土曜日17日がラスト・・・ということで、サマー・ストリート（Summer Streets）の話題。

みんな大好き、お得情報。

じゃーん、無料の貸し出し自転車屋さん（Free Bike Rentals、時間制限1時間）。

上の写真は、アップタウン・レスト・ストップ（Uptown Rest Stop: 51st St. and Park Ave.）のものですが、他のレスト・ストップにも出てます。

また、自転車を借りても、チェーンの鍵など持参してないと気軽にとめられないですよね。でも、大丈夫、各レスト・ストップには無料の自転車駐輪場（Free Bike Valet）もあるのです。

詳しくは、サマー・ストリート公式サイトの「Route & Activities」メニュー内の「Activities」ページ、各レスト・ストップの「BIKE PROGRAMMING」紹介をご確認ください。例えば、アップタウン・レスト・ストップの場合は、以下のとおり：

Unlimited Biking, a premier bike rentals, tours and experiences company, is partnering with Summer Streets to provide FREE bike rentals for individuals participating in the event. With over 4,000 bikes across New York and California, Unlimited Biking will be present at three rest stops along the seven miles of Summer Streets, with 75 complimentary bikes at each rest stop. All rentals will come with helmets, baskets/bike bags and illustrated maps. An active credit card must be on file. It is available on a first come, first serve basis - and should the complimentary bikes run out, guests can feel free to visit any of Unlimited Biking’s retail store locations in the following neighborhoods for an hour free bike rental: Central Park South, Columbus Circle, Brooklyn Bridge, Harlem, Hudson River or South street, or reserve in advance here! で、実際に、ここに書いてある”reserve in advance here!”から、貸し自転車屋さんのUnlimited Bikingの公式サイトへ行って事前リザーブ（無料ですけど、登録時にクレジットカード情報など入力が必要）して、現場に行ってみたのですが自転車はすべて貸し出されてました。事前リザーブしても、必ず、確保されてるわけじゃないそうです。要注意。

まぁ、無料ですし、そりゃそうですよね。

でも、まぁ、無料で自転車を借りられなかったとしても、これも一応その対策なのでしょうか、ここのスタッフ、謎のイケメン多めになっておりまして、無料でイケメンとのお話は楽しめます（笑）
